Brenda Joyce Abbott McLin, born on August 21, 1949, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 26, 2026, at the age of 76. Brenda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend whose life was defined by unwavering faith, unconditional love, and selfless generosity. Her faith was reflected in the way she lived each day - serving others, encouraging those around her, and finding joy in life’s simple moments. Brenda had a larger-than-life personality, a quick wit, and a gift for making people laugh. Everyone who knew her remembers her unforgettable laugh - it was contagious and could brighten any room. She had a remarkable way of making others smile with her humor, her honesty, and her caring heart. Brenda found her greatest happiness surrounded by the people she loved most. Though we grieve her passing, we also celebrate a life beautifully lived and the countless memories she gave to those she loved. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, strength, laughter, and compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 56 years, Stoney McLin; her daughter, Tina Cifreo, and husband, Craig Cifreo; her grandchildren and their families: Cierra, Jesse and Jude Stone; Easton, Abigail, Sadie and Blakely Cifreo; and Cydney and Jaden Silas. She is also survived by her sister, Pat Keranen, and husband, Rick Keranen. She is preceded in death by her three brothers, Jimmy Abbott, Richard Abbott, and Kenny Abbott, and by her parents, James and Dorothy Abbott. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Brenda’s visitation at Revival Temple’s front building in Walker, Tuesday, July 28, 2026 from 10:00 AM until her service begins at 12:00 PM. Burial will immediately follow in Hiram Stafford Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Craig Cifreo, Easton Cifreo, Jesse Stone, Jaden Silas, Curtis McLin, and Shane Collins.
