On Saturday, July 23, 2016, Robert Allen Reid, a resident of Livingston, peacefully passed away at the age of 57. Robert is survived by his loving wife Beverly Gail Reid; 4 children, Robert Dwayne Reid, Christopher Shaun Reid, Cody Allen Reid and Davis Sharp; his sisters, Brenda Reid, Roxie Reid & Kitty Freire, Cathy & Arnold Naquin, Amanda & Neil Larridiere; his brothers and their spouses, Tracy Reid, Johnny & Keisha Reid, Tommy Reid, Binky & Lisa Reid, Matthew Reid; his stepmother, Callie Anthony Reid; his Step sisters, Elizabeth Loft, and Teresa Anthony. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, Lanie Ballard, Devin Sackett, Dylan Reid, Tyler Reid, Kayden Reid, Brennon Reid, Lexie Nations, Dakota Nations, Dylan Nations; as well as numerous nieces nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earnest Whig Reid and Beverly Carolyn Reid. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Midway Baptist Church, Colyell, LA on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until the Funeral Service begins at 3:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Bill Hallifield and Rev. Steven Jennings. Burial will follow in Colyell Cemetery; Pallbearers are Jeremy Reid, Jason Reid, Terry Martin, John Sherman, Christopher Rome, Bradley Sykes. Arrangements have been entrusted to McLin and Manley Funeral Home of Walker, Louisiana.
