Norma Lee Reeder

June 5, 1944 - April 2, 2022

Mrs. Norma Lee Reeder (Evans) died peacefully at Our Lady of The Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge on April 2, 2022, at the age of 77. She is survived by her son, Christopher Wayne Dale; her grandchildren Stacey Renae Allen, Samantha Dianne Allen, Ashlie Danielle Allen, Cody Wayne Allen, and Michael Hunter Dale. She was also survived by her great-grandchildren Kameron Renae Spann, Katherine “Katy” Danielle Parish, Karlie Jayde Parish, Dawson John Allen, Rodney Wayne Wilson, and Brilynn Diane Allen; her sister Susan Fremin; her nieces and nephews Paul Pousson, Brittany Pousson, Logan Fremin, and Joshua Fremin, and many cousins and great-nephews, and great-nieces; and her precious dog Tinkerbelle. She was preceded in death by her husband Shirley Ray Reeder, her brother, Elton Evans Jr., her mother, and her father Elton and Florestine Evans. She was married on August 10, 1986, to Shirley Ray Reeder. She worked in sales briefly but retired to raise her granddaughter. She was a devoted wife who cared deeply for and loved spending time with her family. Springtime was her favorite time of year. She lived most of her life in Baker, LA but was a current resident of Walker, LA. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation at First Baptist Church of Denham Springs 27735 LA-16, Denham Springs, LA 70726, Monday, April 11th from 5:00 pm until services begin at 7:00 pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to McLin & Manley Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Online condolences may be left at www.mclinfuneralhome.com.
