Jeanette F. Luquette

February 20, 1933 - June 3, 2017

Heaven gained a special person on June 3, 2017. Jeanette F. Luquette, a resident of Grenwell Springs, and native of Folsom, age 84, left to go be with her Lord. Jeanette was a retired nurse from the Bone and Joint Clinic of Baton Rouge after 44 years of service, she was a woman of many talents, but her favorite of all was square-dancing. She is survived by her son, Mike Louquette and his wife Cindy; her sisters, Aileen Courtade, Doris Morello, Mary Macon; three grandchildren and their spouses, Michael (Ashli) Luquette, Chris (Kristen) Luquette, and Courtney Luquette; great-grandchildren, Paige, Michael Jr., George Luquette; as well as numerous other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her husband George Luquette, her parents Ellis & Elizabeth Fairburn; her sister Mildred Stratton; and her brother Earl Lee. Visitation will be Wednesday June 7, 2017at Life Church 9036 Florida Blvd. Walker, from 10:00AM until the Funeral Service at 1:30PM conducted by Pastor Val Taylor. Graveside services will follow at Ponchatoula City Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to McLin & Manley Funeral Home.
