Charles Atwell Sharp

Charles "Charlie" Atwell Sharp, a resident of Walker, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the age of 70. Through the years, he drove across the States in his 18-wheeler. He met many people and made a lot of friends. What was most important to him was his family. He loved it when his grand-babies came over and called out, “Hey Paw Paw Charlie!” It made his face and eyes light up. We love you and will miss you always. He is survived by his family in Louisiana, which include his son Warren Clarkson and his wife Donna; grandchildren, Wesley and Bree Clarkson, Krystal and Kyle Hotard; great grandchildren, Braxton, Ryleigh, and Lilly Clarkson, and Aubrey, Sophia and one coming soon Hotard. He is also survived by his family in Texas, which include his daughter, Lisa Reed and her husband John; grandchildren, Julia Flores, Drew, and Jordan Reed; great-grandchildren Creedance, Arianna, and Jolie; as well as numerous other loving family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, L. C. Sharp and Lora Ethelda Mize Sharp; his sister, Joy Boyd; and his brother, L. C. Sharp Jr. Visitation will be on Tuesday November 7, 2017 at McLin & Manley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 29419 Walker South Rd. Walker, LA, from 5:00 PM until the funeral service at 7:00PM conducted by Pastor Willis Easley.
